My first day in school remains the best day of my life as a kid. It was Monday 1 September 2023 I went to a private primary school with my mother. Reaching there, I had series of unknown fears driving me. Upon getting to the school, I was happy to see people of my size in the field playing. Then, I and mum proceeded to the Headmaster’s office. On reaching there, we met some of the teachers who were waiting for the head teacher . The head teacher directed one of them to take us to my classroom.
My mum left me minutes after I got to the class, that was then I understood that I was in a fresh environment trying to maintain my fears. When all of the students queued up to join the assembly. The school headmaster presented a short speech which was drafted to welcome us all to the start of the academic year. We returned to the classroom afterwards . Minutes later, my class teacher entered the classroom. He narrated and educated us about the classroom rules and he informed us about other important things.
A bell rang before he concluded, then we saw a new teacher step in . She came to teach English language . She shared a very interesting story. I loved the class. My the teachers were very friendly to me and my mates that even the fear I had disappeared. The final bell rang and mum was waiting to pick me at the school gate. I came back home smiling recounting the sweet memories of my first day at school.
